From the first release of our 2001 Chardonnay in May 2002 the wines have received some outstanding reviews from many of Australia's leading wine critics.

The name 'Higher Plane' evolved out of our intention to produce only the 'highest' quality wines from micro-sites within the 123 acre single vineyard block.

Only those wines that achieved the highest level of quality would be acknowledged and recognised as Higher Plane.
