Yields are deliberately restricted to produce a light to medium bodied wine, garnet in colour with a light red hue.
Higher Plane Pinot typically possesses a pronounced fragrant bouquet that encompasses aromas of cherry, strawberry, rhubarb, and violets
The wine’s acidity is balanced and provides focus. The palate is beguiling with a fine silky texture. Flavours are principally red skinned fruits – cherry, raspberry, strawberry – perhaps plum depending on the vintage, and fruit sweetness is evident.
The finish is impressively long.
