South by Southwest Chardonnay
Initially made in an unoaked manner, the style of our second Chardonnay, South by Southwest Chardonnay has evolved into a medium bodied, lightly oaked style with intensity and a thread of minerality running through it.
The bouquet shows characters drawn from the following spectrum apple, pear, green melon, pineapple, nectarine, fennel and lemon. Flinty and mineral nuances complement the vibrant white peach and tangy citrus fruit characters. The oak component of the wine sits quietly in the background.
