South by Southwest shiraz
The South by Southwest Shiraz is a medium bodied wine with a fragrant nose. Typically the aromas and flavours are of raspberries, blackcurrant toffee, red liquorice medicinal, tar, aniseed, white pepper with soy, bonox, and five-spice complexities.Viognier is added to impart a (silky) textural component and liveliness to the wine so that it is not too lean. We do not want the Viognier to be obvious, but rather to lend an ethereal quality.
French oak provides a cedary component melding seamlessly into the palate which is soft and smooth with spicy flavours, balanced acidity and impressive length.
