Mark Messenger - Chief Winemaker
After completing his winemaking degree at Roseworthy in 1987 and working vintages in the Hunter and Victoria, Mark arrived in Margaret River, joining Cape Mentelle as Assistant winemaker in May 1990. During his tenure Mark worked vintages at Cloudy Bay, Mondavi, and in India.Mark left Cape Mentelle to join Juniper Estate in 1998 as Chief Winemaker. Mark sees huge potential for the Chardonnay in particular, from the site.
Ianto Ward – Viticultural Manager
Ianto has spent the last 9 years working in the field of viticulture, initially employed by the Department of Agriculture on a short term project as a Technical Officer, and then with AHA Viticulture as a Viticultural Consultant
Kym Eyres – Winemaker
Kym joined Juniper as a winemaker in 2008. Kym has been making wine since 2001 in the Margaret River region, firstly at Vasse Felix in Wilyabrup, and later at Deep Woods in Yallingup.
