Margaret River is a remote, environmentally pristine coastal region at latitude 34°S and having an eastern boundary located at 115°18’E (known as the Gladstones Line, named after Dr John Gladstones).The appellation is approximately 95kms from north to south and 27kms from east to west, and lies in the south west corner of Western Australia about 270km south of the state capital Perth.
The Higher Plane vineyard is located 15 km south of the town of Margaret River in sub region of Forest Grove.
